Position Overview: This role involves performing specialized, life-sustaining procedures within a hospital-based advanced care ambulance service. The professional provides immediate emergency care and safe transport for critically ill or injured patients under the guidance of a medical control physician. Work Environment: The position offers a dynamic schedule including rotating days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, ideal for those seeking part-time or PRN opportunities in a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere. Education & Certifications
Current EMS certification from the relevant state authority. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or commitment to obtain within six months of hire. Valid driver's license. Experience & Training
Operational level Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) training completed within one year of onboarding. Successful completion of Incident Command System (ICS) courses 100 and 200 within three months of employment.
