About
Assist radiologic technologists in performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensuring patient clinical history aligns with the procedure and is properly documented for practitioner use. Prepare patients for procedures by providing clear instructions to achieve optimal results, encourage cooperation, and reduce anxiety. Apply aseptic techniques when necessary and initiate basic life support actions if required. Maintain responsibility for assigned areas, including reporting equipment issues, ensuring cleanliness, and restocking supplies. Engage in departmental quality assessment and improvement initiatives. Adhere to established minimum standards and use sound judgment and specialized medical skills to care for patients considering their age and diagnosis. Note: This description is not exhaustive and duties may evolve over time. Education and Experience Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills.
Work Shift: First shift, part-time, scheduled approximately 22 hours weekly in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest.
