About
• Must obtain a TB test with satisfactory results within 30 days of employment, and yearly thereafter as required by licensing authority. Education and Experience Parent or caregiver of a child who has received behavioral health services from one or more of the System of Care community's child serving agencies. Knowledge and experience in fostering partnerships and collaborations. Demonstrated experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Some understanding of the System of Care Values and principles. Must have the ability to articulate the experience and appropriate perspective of a parent/caregiver of a child with complex mental health needs and provide support to other families with similar challenges. Must be able to engage and collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds while maintaining a non-judgmental attitude towards families and professionals. Bi-lingual (Spanish) speaking preferred. High school diploma and some college preferred. Must be the biological or adoptive parent or person in the parent role who has been the primary caregiver of a child with emotional, behavioral or mental health challenges is required.
