About
Perform high-quality mammogram procedures according to prescribed protocols and safety standards. Operate and maintain mammography equipment, including Hologic systems, ensuring optimal functionality. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver accurate imaging results. Adhere to patient safety, confidentiality, and infection control guidelines. Document procedures thoroughly within the EPIC system and maintain clear patient records. Float within scope to assist other departments as needed, ensuring seamless patient care. Qualifications:
Possess a minimum of 1 year of mammography technologist experience. Hold valid licensing or certification in mammography, with VA or compact state license by submission. Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC charting and Hologic mammography systems. Preferably hold a BSN and knowledge of facility-specific policies. Capable of working 4-9 hour shifts, with flexibility for floating shifts. Must comply with background screening requirements and fingerprinting per Virginia regulations. Benefits & Growth:
