Core Job FunctionsEvaluate athletes' readiness to play and provide participation clearances when applicable. Apply protective or injury preventive devices as warranted. Assess and report the progress of recovering athletes to coaches or physicians. Complete timely documentation to support skilled services delivered and billing. Conducts initial assessment of injury to provide emergency or continued are. Effectively handle urgent/emergency situations while maintaining quality of service. Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation program for athlete. Assess and report the progress of recovering athletes to coaches or physicians. Submit to the therapist appropriate written reports of the patient's progress.
