About
Install, configure, and maintain Linux‑based servers, including web servers, application servers, database servers while utilizing Docker and Ansible. Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings Perform system backups and disaster recovery operations Create and maintain system documentation Develop and maintain automation scripts Install and configure software applications Monitor and analyze system logs Implement and maintain system security policies working in conjunction with the University Information Security Office. Research and recommend new technologies Participate in system design and architecture planning
Education (Desired) Some college Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Required) Desired Qualifications At least 5 years of applicable experience. The expected pay range for this position is $30.00 to $70.00 per hour. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
