About
Lead and develop the IT & Database Teams, promoting a culture of teamwork, service, and excellence. Create tools and dashboards that present data in a clear and compelling way with consistent definitions. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics (primarily within Rock RMS). Analyze trends across campuses, ministries, and programs to support strategic decisions. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all systems. Partner with ministry leaders to identify reporting needs and provide clear, actionable insights. Partner with the executive team to design analytical deliverables (Rock RMS, reports, charts, etc.) that address recurring strategic questions and support ongoing decision‑making. Lead the integration and implementation of AI tools and automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Manage and optimize IT systems, infrastructure, and processes in collaboration with vendors and internal teams. Create streamlined, “one‑stop” reporting solutions for executive leadership. Support data‑driven initiatives related to group attendance, engagement, volunteer assimilation (Equip/All‑Stars), and growth metrics. Train staff and leaders on reporting tools, dashboards, and data best practices. Collaborate with internal and external teams on data initiatives, integrations, and other system‑focused needs. Conduct comprehensive cross‑functional data analysis to uncover trends and insights.
Budgeting & Stewardship
Develop and manage the IT & Database Department budget. Oversee purchasing, contracts, and vendor relationships to ensure wise financial stewardship. Evaluate and recommend cost‑saving measures without compromising quality or safety. Ensure accountability and proper documentation for all expenditures and projects.
Other Duties (Technical)
Maintain ongoing communication with leadership and staff regarding IT & Database needs and priorities. Other duties as assigned.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This is a regular full‑time position (40 hrs). Days and hours of work depend on the operational needs of the church. Evening, weekend, and holiday duties are needed as job duties demand. Physical Requirements
Must have good or corrected vision as well as effective peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must have good manual dexterity and be able to use repetitive motion of the hands and arms. Must be able to frequently stand and or walk for long periods of time. Must be able to move about inside and outside the building to perform a variety of tasks. Must be able to frequently and effectively communicate in both written and verbal form. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Frequently reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field. Minimum 2 (2) years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or demonstrated technical proficiency in data visualization tools. Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing projects of varying scope and complexity.
Work Environment Duties are performed in a variety of settings to include outside, office, and technical settings, where the work and general environment may be fast‑paced and hectic at times. Therefore, it is essential that the employee can effectively handle the normal anxieties associated with the job and manage multiple projects in a service‑oriented environment. Environmental noise levels are minimal. Other Duties (Community Values)
