WWPS, is seeking Multiple highly skilled Safety Coordinators to join our growing team in the North Phoenix Arizona area. The successful candidate will have Safety Coordination experience related to construction in the Semiconductor, Industrial, Chemical, Gas and Oil or Manufacturing markets. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, technically skilled, highly organized, communicate clearly and have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Candidates work history must represents increased levels of responsibility on a progressive basis throughout career. LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with safety representatives from trade contractors to continuously monitor the program to identify opportunities for improvement. Engage with field teams to identify better means of support to include but not limited to: Aiding in hazard awareness Assistance in identifying means and methods of hazard mitigation Alternate installation approaches Being a resource for information and guidelines regarding their personal safety and their environment Take an active role on the site safety leadership team to support the overall site initiatives and goals for safety Stay apprised of industry trends, regulation changes and new tools and techniques and keep the team informed as appropriate Work with management and safety professions to develop and deliver safety onboarding training for all new employees Other safety related responsibilities as warranted. Requirements3-5+ years in the Semiconductor field Base Build and/or Tool-Install experience a plus OSHA 500 EducationAS/BS - Occupational Safety and Health or related degree and/or relevant experience Work EnvironmentIndividual will be working primarily in a field environment with potential frequent office work, and training. Validation walks required (may include some work on ladders or lifts). Physical DemandsMust be able to walk and stand the majority of the day. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
