Volunteer DevOps / Cloud Systems Engineer
to collaborate with our existing Azure Systems Administrator. In this role, you will help design, secure, and optimize our production pipelines, ensuring our React front-end and Laravel API backend deploy seamlessly while keeping our non-profit infrastructure costs to an absolute minimum. Key Responsibilities Multi-Cloud Integration:
Help manage our core production stack on Azure (Static Web Apps, App Service, MySQL) while configuring specific auxiliary services on AWS (S3, CloudFront, SES, Lambda). CI/CD Pipelines:
Set up automated, lightweight deployment workflows for our development team. Cost Optimization:
Implement aggressive scheduling and resource-saving policies to maximize our Azure and AWS non-profit grants. Compliance Mindset:
Help maintain infrastructure configurations aligned with HIPAA, GDPR, and COPPA data privacy standards. Qualifications Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Systems Administration. Familiarity with
both
Azure and AWS environments. Basic understanding of hosting environments optimized for Laravel (PHP) and React. Passion for healthcare accessibility, digital equity, or social impact.
