About

Owning medium-to-large data science projects end-to-end, the full-time remote Data Scientist III will build production-ready models, mentor junior scientists, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to solve complex marketplace problems. Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full data science lifecycle for moderately complex models, including data ingestion, feature engineering, modeling, validation, and deployment Partner with product managers to define success metrics and translate business problems into data science solutions, leading the design and analysis of experiments Mentor junior data scientists, providing technical guidance and influencing team standards and best practices
Required Qualifications:
B.S. or M.S. in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant industry experience; OR a Ph.D. with 2+ years of experience Demonstrated ability to independently manage the data science lifecycle from problem formulation to model deployment and maintenance Strong expertise in machine learning and statistics, with experience in methods such as gradient-boosted models and deep neural networks Proficient in Python and SQL, with experience in ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch Experience designing and analyzing experiments, including A/B testing and building validation frameworks for models
