Job Summary The Pharmaceutical Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals such as doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals. The role involves building strong relationships with healthcare providers, educating them about products, and achieving sales targets while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and sell pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, clinics, and hospitals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
Present product information, benefits, and usage to medical professionals.
Achieve assigned sales targets and business objectives.
Organize product presentations, medical seminars, and promotional activities.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and company policies.
Coordinate with marketing and medical teams for promotional strategies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field .
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and medical terminology.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel frequently to visit healthcare professionals.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM or sales tracking systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare sales.
Understanding of local pharmaceutical regulations and healthcare systems.
Strong network with healthcare professionals.
