The Role As a Backend Software Engineer, you will design and build core platform capabilities, owning features end-to-end from concept through production while collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Drive end-to-end implementation of product requirements
Build scalable backend systems
Write clean, maintainable code
Collaborate cross-functionally
Influence product direction
Own full software development lifecycle
Balance short-term and long-term architecture
Work Experience
Experience building AI/LLM infrastructure or data pipelines
Experience in high-growth startups or large tech companies
Distributed systems design experience
Demonstrated scrappiness (founder, side projects, hackathons)
Qualifications
Strong backend engineering experience
Proficiency in Go or similar language
Experience with APIs (GraphQL/REST)
Cloud experience (AWS)
Experience with PostgreSQL, Kafka, or Redis
Strong problem-solving skills
Hard Skills
Deep fluency with Go
Experience with AI tooling (Claude, Cursor, Codex)
Kafka, Redis, or Kubernetes experience
Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
