The Sales Assistant role is a varied position that combines customer service, sales support, and warehouse operations. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the branch and ensuring customers receive an excellent service.
Role & Responsibilities
Serving customers at the trade counter Handling customer enquiries and processing orders over the telephone Preparing and following up customer quotations Assisting with purchasing activities and supplier liaison Picking and preparing customer orders Managing goods in and goods out processes Supporting general warehouse and branch operations Building and maintaining strong customer relationships Experience & Skills Required
Previous experience within a wholesale, distribution, trade, or customer-facing environment is advantageous but not essential Strong communication and customer service skills Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks Good organisational skills and attention to detail Benefits
