About

Senior Information Security Administrator Hypertherm Associates is searching for a Senior Information Security Administrator to support and advance the enterprise information security program by helping manage cyber risk, security governance, and security awareness across the organization. In this role, you will design, build, and operate security controls that reduce risk while enabling productivity. You’ll work closely with IT and business partners to deliver solutions that are secure by default and secure by design. This is a senior-level, hands‑on role with system-level ownership where you’ll lead security initiatives, mentor team members, and help shape enterprise security strategy, standards, and metrics in a modern manufacturing and SaaS cloud environment. Responsibilities Design, implement, and operate endpoint security controls across laptops and mobile devices Support the Information Security team in protecting enterprise data and systems Build automation and tooling to reduce manual security effort Support incident response, escalations, and exception management Serve as incident handler for security escalations and ensure leadership awareness Partner with IT and business teams to securely onboard new applications Author and maintain security policies, standards, procedures, and runbooks Monitor and enforce security controls to drive user compliance Participate in sprint planning and creation of user stories Collaborate with infrastructure teams to resolve security issues with minimal disruption Design, implement, and operate third party risk controls and governance Experience & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 7+ years of information or cybersecurity experience Active or advanced security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or CEH (preferred) Experience with EDR, vulnerability management, SIEM/SOC, cloud security (Azure preferred), email and web security Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Ability to translate cyber risk into business impact Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities Preferred Experience Zero Trust implementation NIST or CIS framework alignment CMMC and OT/manufacturing security experience Securing cloud-native and SaaS applications Leading penetration tests AI-enabled SOC, SIEM, or vulnerability management Mentoring MSSP or offshore security teams Location & Travel Location: Hanover, NH. Travel: Up to 10%.
