Responsibilities The impact you will have : Guiding our customers through modernization of their infrastructure. Modernized infrastructure includes datacenter-based infrastructure and public cloud infrastructure, deployed in a dynamic, connected and secured architecture for modernized applications, data and AI workloads. As a Modern Infrastructure Sales Executive, you will put customers on the best path to a sustainable and ground-breaking future, unlock new opportunities and overcome technical and business barriers, while delivering a compelling and customized roadmap for modernization. This role supports Softchoice’s long-standing promise to do right by our customers. You will work with customers who need large-scale data sets supporting AI workloads alongside legacy workloads with security, resilience and governance challenges. You will collaborate with account teams to develop and set in motion advanced Datacenter, AI and storage hybrid infrastructures, public cloud and network infrastructure and security solutions, helping customers succeed and thrive. What you will be working with:
You will report to the Modern Infrastructure Sales Leader with accountability to the Modern Infrastructure business at Softchoice. You will work with strategic customers looking to modernize their datacenter and/or public cloud infrastructure, connected, secured and managed. You and your team will be supported by Solution Architects and Technical Architects to ensure fast value in discussions with customers. You will collaborate with account executives, sales leadership and GTM team members to grow the Modern Infrastructure business together.
What you will do
Grow and develop Hybrid IT Solutions and Services including Data Center, Networking, Public Cloud, Professional Services, and/or Managed Services Leverage the challenger Sales methodology and insights-driven sales processes, with knowledge of industry and technical trends, to customize solutions for customer needs and business goals Collaborate with District Sales Teams and Leaders to create and execute a strategy to acquire new opportunities within targeted accounts Build and maintain account and market penetration plans on assigned accounts Quarterback opportunities from assessing customer needs through closing deals and driving diversification Engage pre-sales and internal support to provide outstanding, end-to-end service Nurture strategic relationships with key Hybrid IT partners and vendors
What you bring to the table Professional Experience in Infrastructure Modernization:
10+ years of experience successfully selling technology solutions in dedicated sales or technical pre-sales roles Extensive experience aligning business objectives and initiatives with relevant technology requirements Proven track record in identifying, developing, and driving sales for legacy infrastructure environments, including compute, storage, and networking within Data Center infrastructure In-depth knowledge of Cisco product lines and solutions as they pertain to modern infrastructure needs Strong expertise in Data Center, hybrid cloud, and public cloud models, with experience across Azure, AWS, Google, and Managed Services Adept at building relationships and engaging with customer decision makers involved in infrastructure modernization efforts Demonstrated ability to manage relationships at all organizational levels and effectively mobilize stakeholders to achieve critical deliverables Exceptional communication skills, especially in conveying complex modern infrastructure concepts Recognized demand generation capabilities, focused on proactive selling rather than solely responding to existing demand Documented success in developing and increasing sales for Managed and Professional Services offerings Creative, strategic thinker with a client-focused service approach Willingness and ability to travel frequently within a designated Sales District, up to 25% of the time
Compensation A reasonable estimate of the current base pay for this position is $106,000 to $150,000 annually plus 40% target incentives. Actual salary will be based on location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
