About
Key Responsibilities
Support the scanning of all network‑attached assets and applications.
Manage various tickets within ServiceNow for customer‑requested scan jobs, reports and user access.
Provide technical support to VM scanning tools across the enterprise, including setup, configuration, scheduling and execution of vulnerability scans.
Collaborate with developers, development managers, technology peers and business contacts to identify security vulnerabilities.
Research new strategic tools and processes to enhance and advance the vulnerability management program and scanning processes; manage day‑to‑day scanning activities, schedules and troubleshooting.
Operate and maintain all scanning tools to ensure the service operates effectively.
Create and maintain key performance indicators for operational success that are reported to senior leadership.
Ensure successful authentication on all assets and applications scanned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, or engineering.
1–2 years of relevant experience using vulnerability scanning tools.
2+ years of experience with various operating systems—UNIX, Linux and Windows Server/Workstations.
Preferred Experience
Enterprise vulnerability scanning experience using Rapid7, Qualys or Tenable.
Knowledge of, and practice within, host, network and application security.
Working knowledge of database platforms and SQL.
Experience with Java, Python and PowerShell.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON and XML.
Working background in the administration of Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems.
Knowledge of Directory Services including Active Directory (AD) and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).
Experience with security tools related to vulnerability scanning technologies.
Experience with enterprise configuration management tools such as ServiceNow.
