Requirements An end-to-end tester; adhering to checklists, frameworks, and templates is the road to success in your book. Patience and dedication, you have a passion towards testing. You tend to be ahead of the curve with various testing techniques that are required for an engagement. You are great at multitasking, time management, understanding the assignment from the client’s point of view, and most importantly, you have a high attention to detail.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience defining test plans and test cases
Experience executing tests and reporting results
Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
Microsoft Windows and web expertise
Knowledge of web applications and service-oriented architectures
Working knowledge of database servers and writing SQL queries
A strong commitment to improving product quality and resourceful testing mentality
Ability to write clear and concise bug tickets using defect/ticket tracking systems
Experience with the following is a plus:
Experience writing automated tests
Experience using a high level scripting language (Python, Perl, Ruby)
Qualifications:
Only Austin based candidates will be considered.
BS/BA in Computer Science preferred and/or equivalent work experience.
Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and quality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
