Group/Division The Information Technology (IT) group at KLA is involved in every aspect of the global business. Responsibilities Design and architect secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP, or hybrid environments. Lead cloud modernization initiatives including application refactoring, re‑platforming, and migration from on‑premises to cloud. Define cloud architecture standards, reference architectures, and best practices. Modernize and transform the software development environment. Collaborate with stakeholders to build CI/CD pipelines, IaC templates, and automated deployment frameworks. Establish governance, cost‑optimization, tagging standards, and operational frameworks. Conduct architectural reviews, threat modeling, and performance optimization. Guide cloud security posture, compliance frameworks, and identity and access management (IAM). Mentor cloud engineers, DevOps teams, and solution architects. Evaluate new cloud technologies and drive innovation. Configure and manage Azure networking components, including virtual networks, subnets, network security groups, and load balancers. Create architecture diagrams, documentation, technical roadmaps, and executive presentations. Preferred Qualifications Deep expertise in major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud. Strong foundations in cloud networking, security, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, and microservices. Hands‑on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation. Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins. Strong understanding of cloud governance, FinOps, cost control, and monitoring. Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, ISO27001). Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture and design. Expert in Azure/AWS/GCP services. Solid understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and cloud security best practices. Experience with network design and implementation in a cloud environment. Experience with CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and FinOps. Professional cloud certifications preferred. Base Pay Range $162,700.00 – $284,700.00 annually (primary location USA‑CA‑Milpitas).
