Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent. Certified as Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I (position-based) per DoD 8570.1M. Fourteen (14) years of professional experience with cybersecurity engineering – Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level I (position-based) per DoD 8570.1M. Experience preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policy, including Assessment and Authorization requirements. Experience with planning, implementing, upgrading, and/or monitoring cybersecurity measures; assessing vulnerabilities for risks and proposing and implementing remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies. Ensuring appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure. Responding to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports. TS/SCI level Clearance required. Job Description The scope of work covers systems engineering, technical, and management support services for the government and its associated acquisition, technology, logistics, and program management offices. Support is provided to multiple stakeholders responsible for the development, integration, and sustainment of specialized operational capabilities. The scope of support includes program management, engineering analysis and design, configuration management, testing, quality control, sustainment, cybersecurity, training, and field service representative support for a static collection capability that functions as a subsystem within a larger integrated system. This is in support of the development, production, and sustainment of specialized intelligence capabilities. Configuration management and associated systems engineering activities are conducted through a collaborative effort among multiple government and partner organizations to ensure interoperability, performance, and lifecycle support. Essential Duties Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner. MUST be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups. Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard. MUST be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face. Physical Demands and Work Environment Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
