About
Compounds sterile and non-sterile products including chemotherapeutic agents. Supports the pharmacy department in achieving and maintaining USP 795, 797, and 800 compliance. Operates, maintains, cleans, and troubleshoots complicated pharmacy equipment. Completes required inspections of internal and external medication storage areas. Trains and documents training of employees. Interacts with external customers (patients), internal customers (Controlled Substance Inspectors and other Medical Center staff), and Pharmacy Staff. Performs pharmacy distributive functions in accordance with policies and procedures. Prioritizes daily tasks based on importance, urgency, and pharmacist request.
Work Schedule: Primarily 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday-Friday, with rotating nights, weekends, and holidays, as determined by medical center needs. Telework: Not Available.
