Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic procedures, and developing personalized treatment strategies Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic conditions, either independently or in collaboration with physician partners Providing education on wellness and disease prevention to patients and their families Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies under your scope of practice Engaging in follow-ups and chronic care management Cooperating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Accurately documenting all patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR) Required Education
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Necessary Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the capability to achieve them within 90 days What Sets You Apart
