Responsibilities • Deliver High-Quality Psychiatric Care: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of children, adolescents, and adults and assessments for patients across the lifespan. • Manage Medications Ethically: Formulate evidence-based treatment plans and provide diligent, personalized medication management. • Oversee Refill Requests: Process prescription refills promptly and accurately through our electronic health record system. • Manage Medication Samples: Oversee the secure storage, tracking, and ethical distribution of pharmaceutical samples. • Collaborate Professionally: Work alongside a diverse team of counselors and psychologists to provide holistic, coordinated patient care. • Champion Care Accessibility: Support our mission of community accessibility by participating in our in-house insurance-provider network. • Maintain Clinical Autonomy: Utilize your diagnostic expertise freely in an environment completely free of corporate micromanagement. • Complete Efficient Documentation: Finish your clinical notes efficiently using our streamlined EHR system so you can leave work on time. • Protect Your License: Adhere to high ethical standards and Texas state regulations with the full backing of our compliance-focused practice. QualificationsFor Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP): • Active State Licensure: Hold a current, unencumbered Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing. • Specialty Certification: Maintain active national certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). • Prescriptive Authority: Possess valid Texas prescriptive authority with full Schedule II through V registration. • Federal Credentials: Maintain an active, unrestricted DEA registration for controlled substances. • Educational Background: Holds an MSN or DNP from an accredited psychiatric nurse practitioner program. • Collaborative Agreement: Utilize our fully provided and established collaborating physician. For Psychiatrists (MD / DO): • Active Medical Licensure: Hold a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine from the Texas Medical Board. • Board Eligibility or Certification: Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). • Federal Credentials: Possess an active, unrestricted DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances. • Educational Background: Hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. • Completed Residency: Complete an ACGME-accredited residency training program in psychiatry.
