Setting: Inpatient hospital - Interventional Cardiology / Cath Lab support
Assignment Dates: July 5, 2026 - December 30, 2026
Shifts Needed: Multiple dates available each month (see Open Shifts)
Shift Times: Onsite 7:00am - 5:00pm, followed by overnight beeper call (5:00pm - 7:00am, 30-minute call radius)
Patient Encounters Per Shift: Average 7
Trauma Level: Level 2
Estimated Weekly Pay: $9,450 - $10,130 (competitive locum tenens pay)

August: 4, 6, 11-13, 15-17
September: 1, 3, 11, 13, 28-30
October: 9-11
November: 6-8, 16-18, 20-22, 24-26
December: 4-6, 18-20, 21-23, 26-30
Job Requirements Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology (required)
Active medical license (Washington state license or IMLC-eligible)
DEA license (required)
ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology (minimum 2 years)
At least 1 year of post-training experience preferred
Ability to provide consistent coverage for multiple shifts per month is highly valued
Responsibilities Provide inpatient interventional cardiology services, including daytime clinical hours and overnight call coverage
Respond to beeper call within a 30-minute radius during overnight hours and provide timely inpatient consults
Manage an average of 7 patient encounters per shift and coordinate care with hospital teams
Perform and supervise interventional procedures as indicated (e.g., PCI, stent placement) and consult on acute coronary syndromes
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams - hospitalists, ICU, nursing, and cath lab staff - to ensure continuity of care
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to hospital policies, quality metrics, and patient safety standards
