Oversee daily operations of Engineering Validation (EV) and/or Quality Control (QC) labs Ensure efficient test scheduling, workflow execution, and overall lab readiness Failure Analysis Leadership
Lead teams performing root-cause analysis on hardware failures, including: Electronic assemblies PCB defects System-level issues Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives Equipment & Infrastructure Oversight
Manage calibration, validation, and maintenance of lab equipment such as: Thermal chambers X-ray inspection systems SEM/EDS tools Signal generators and test fixtures
Compliance & Standards
Ensure adherence to: Industry regulations (e.g., IPC, JEDEC, ISO) Internal quality and validation standards
Support audit readiness and maintain proper documentation Team Leadership & Development
Supervise lab technicians and engineers Assign tasks, manage shifts, and monitor productivity Conduct performance reviews and support cross-training initiatives
Typical Qualifications Experience
3-5+ years in R&D, reliability engineering, or QA lab environments Background in electronics manufacturing (EMS/ODM) preferred Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of: Server hardware architecture PCIe and high-speed interfaces Power delivery systems Firmware debugging Hardware validation and stress testing methodologies
Soft Skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset Effective cross-functional collaboration skills Solid project management and team leadership abilities
