About

Marion-Florence USD 408 is accepting applications for an activities director position for the 2026-2027 school year. This position could also include some teaching duties and coaching opportunities. Marion has an outstanding tradition of a quality high school experience for students and a strong educational experience as well. USD 408 remains committed to providing the technology and resources to maintain this tradition of excellence. In addition to the traditional curriculum, our district has numerous career pathways at our high school to facilitate the college and career readiness of our students. Marion has outstanding facilities and an extremely positive working environment. Marion High School was recognized as one of the top high schools in the nation by Newsweek in both 2014 and in 2015. Additional supplemental contracts may also be available that provide opportunities for leadership and student interaction. The successful applicant will be placed on the salary schedule at the highest step and column which their experience and credentials allow.
The position also includes a single health insurance plan. Interviews will be conducted until a successful candidate is found.
