Github Actions Developer Job Description/Responsibilities
Manage CI/CD pipelines for multi language applications (Java, NodeJS, Python; plus exposure to.NET & Go), ensuring reliable builds, test automation, and deployments across environments. Develop and optimize GitHub Actions workflows, including reusable workflows, composite actions, matrix builds, secrets management, and environment specific deployment pipelines. Administer GitHub Enterprise (cloud or on prem), managing org-level settings, permissions, branch protection rules, compliance policies, audit logs, and repository governance. Configure and maintain self hosted runners, including provisioning, scaling, troubleshooting runner issues, and applying enterprise security hardening guidelines. Design, develop, and maintain GitHub Apps for automation, integration, access management, and event driven workflows across enterprise repositories. Automate platform operations using Python or Java (preferred) to build internal tools, API integrations, workflow generators, and automation scripts for DevOps tasks
