In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of patient interaction—providing compassionate service, collecting high‑quality specimens, and supporting critical diagnostic testing that helps guide life‑changing medical decisions. Location: Troy, MO Pay Rate: $25/hr Employment Type: Contingent Schedule: 7:30am–4:00pm Why This Role Matters You play a vital role in the diagnostic process by ensuring patients feel comfortable and confident while delivering accurate, high‑quality specimens for testing. Your attention to detail and patient-first approach directly support better healthcare outcomes. What You'll Do
Perform blood collection (venipuncture and capillary) for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations
Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens following established procedures
Verify patient information and obtain signatures to ensure proper identification and labeling
Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with standards
Create a welcoming, professional environment while explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns
Support both clinical and forensic specimen collection as needed
Demonstrate flexibility by working across patient service centers and physician offices based on business needs
What We're Looking For
A current, up-to-date resume
High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred
Phlebotomy certification preferred
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
At least 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting
Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed
Keyboard/data entry proficiency and strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs
Ability to meet compliance requirements
