About
Obtain and record initial assessment; establish priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs. Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention. Develop and implement measurable individualized plans of care for patients within the established timeframes. Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of facts and evaluations of patient outcomes; modify plans based on evaluations. Participate in patient/significant other health education and discharge planning. Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs. Evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care. Perform various Point of Care testing procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required. Current BLS certification from AHA required. Current ACLS certification from AHA required. Current NRP certification required. Graduate from an accredited program for Registered Nursing. Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights in the delivery of care and able to communicate clearly and concisely.
