About
Provide direct services to diagnose and manage patients with speech, language and cognitive-communication disorders in the University Health Partners of Hawai'i Speech and Hearing Clinic; Teach and supervise clinical practicum experiences for students who observe and participate in your faculty-directed sessions in the UHPSHC; Comply with all legal requirements and company policies.
Qualification Requirements Education/Training/ Experience Minimum:
Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field from college or university of recognized standing, with major work in CSD. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA CCC-SLP) State of Hawai'i Speech Pathologist license to practice in the State of Hawai'i by date of hire. Experience in providing direct services in clinical specialties. Experience in supervising student clinicians. Experience in clinical leadership role. Demonstrated commitment to person- and family-centered care. Poise and good address for meeting, collaborating, and conferring with others.
Preferred:
Experience in telepractice service delivery.
Skills Knowledge Minimum:
Demonstrated clinical competencies with evidence-based knowledge and skills to provide direct services to patients. Evidence of ability to teach effectively and to direct group discussions
