Job Summary Julian Charter School is currently looking for a Full Time Occupational Therapist to provide service in the San Diego county area for the 26-27 school year. This position is a 11 mth position and will be required to travel between sites at our Encinitas campuses.
The Occupational Therapist participates as a member of a multidisciplinary team for assessments and development of an individualized education program if student is found eligible for special education services. They serve as a member of the educational team serving the needs of children and their families; provide assessment and direct services related to sensory-motor development and other identified developmental needs; provide consultation related to sensory-motor development; provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services based upon needs determined through established processes; Provide assessment, consultation to school staff and parents, and direct occupational therapy to students enrolled in or referred to special education programs under IDEA and Section 504 Requirements / QualificationsCPR/First Aid Certification OR Other (If you do not have a current CPR certification, please post a document stating that you will obtain CPR certification upon hire.) Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation Resume Other (If you do not have a current TB result, please upload a document stating that you will obtain a TB result upon offer of employment.)
