About
Provides clinical services and teaching of diagnostic radiology and body imaging, and thoracic imaging. Interprets X-rays in all modalities of diagnostic radiology.
Mentors and instructs residents, fellows, and medical students in research projects as requested or assigned by department chair.
Lectures, holds conferences, and participates in related meetings and school functions.
Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures.
Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibilities.
Ensures compliance with HIPPA and billing regulation.
Remains current with all licensure, certifications and mandatory compliances and trainings required of this position.
Adhere to all policies, procedures and practices (Regents Rules, TTUS, HSECEP OPs, etc.).
Personally demonstrate, display and act in accordance with TTUHSC EP's Values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Serve as a Value's leader while actively promoting and encouraging staff across the institution.

Education/Experience Graduated from an approved accredited School of Medicine with an M.D. degree; at least three years post-graduate training in primary care medicine.
Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas or have the ability to transfer license to Texas. Certificate or license for prescribing controlled substances.
Licensure/certification M.D or D.O. Degree Texas Medical Licensure or eligible for Licensure
Desired Qualifications Experience and demonstrated interest in education of residents and /or medical students
Bilingual in English/Spanish Board certification by the American Board of Radiology Competencies for
