About

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) This is a 13-week contract position. The schedule is 4x10 hours, running from 06:00 AM to 04:30 PM. Job Description The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is responsible for assisting in surgical operations, ensuring the operating room is prepared, and maintaining a sterile environment. The CST will be expected to take call at least two days per week and participate in weekend coverage every 6-week schedule as needed. Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain the operating room and surgical instruments. Assist surgeons during procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies. Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical equipment. Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process. Participate in call rotations and weekend coverage as assigned.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Must possess certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). BLS certification is required. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist. Experience in an operating room setting during procedures such as angioplasty, cardiac surgeries, and valve replacements is preferred.
