About

Critical Care Registered Nurse - ICU We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse with at least two years of ICU experience. The ideal candidate will work in a critical care float pool and provide care to adult patients. Experience in a teaching hospital and at a Trauma Level I facility is preferred. Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Job Description We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse with at least two years of ICU experience. The ideal candidate will work in a critical care float pool and provide care to adult patients. Experience in a teaching hospital and at a Trauma Level I facility is preferred. Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients in various ICU settings. Manage complex patient care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Utilize advanced clinical skills and critical thinking in patient assessments and interventions. Oversee patient ratios, which may range from 1:1 to 3:1. Monitor and manage patient conditions utilizing EPIC charting system. Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current PA or Compact nursing license in hand. 2 years of ICU experience required. Experience in Critical Care Float Pool preferred. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required. Experience with the EPIC charting system. Must have diverse experience in critical care nursing.
