About
Performs the full range of clinical duties, including the gathering and analysis of data, formulation of treatment plans, and implementation of the intervention for routine and complex cases. Performs assessments of each client using information provided, standardized tools and/or analysis of clinical observation. Intervention also implies:
Attendance at the Team Meetings for consultation within a team setting. Provides caregiver education, modeling, and coaching as appropriate.
Formulates understanding of clients' needs, including the family, providing appropriate services with supervisory consultation. Develops and implements skills in providing appropriate services with increasing responsibility for the appraisal of the effectiveness of own work. Provides resources and education to community stakeholders.
Program Support
Performs record-keeping functions and other administrative duties as required by the Agency. Participates in agency staff development programs and professional group seminars or conferences to increase professional knowledge and to report on own work. Collaborates with other agency personnel, supervisor, appropriate specialists or consultants on specific case related problems. May support student interns when mutually decided b/w SLP and supervisor.
Requirements:
Master's or Doctorate Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; CFY's also considered Illinois Department of Professional Regulation State Licensure. Early Intervention Credential in Speech-Language Pathology or willing to obtain with Agency support Must have a Valid Illinois Driver's License, Car, and Auto Insurance
