What You'll Do
Provide postoperative care tailored to individual patient needs within the PACU setting Monitor patient vitals, respond to immediate postoperative changes, and manage patient pain and discomfort Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal recovery outcomes Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in compliance with hospital standards Educate and support patients and their families during recovery processes Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines Use critical judgment to escalate concerns and coordinate patient transfers or interventions as needed
What You Need Required:
Valid and current RN license in State of Practice BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from the American Heart Association CPI certification from the Crisis Prevention Institute Minimum 2 years of PACU or comparable acute care experience
Preferred:
Certification in a clinical specialty area within nursing Experience working in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma facility Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
