Oversee assigned mobile eye clinic operations and support efficient patient flow throughout the day Conduct eye exam pre-tests while maintaining optimal professional and patient care standards Take measurements, fit, and adjust frames for patients according to written optical prescriptions Assist patients with frame selections to ensure proper fit, comfort, and patient satisfaction Complete and prepare daily reports and documentation in a timely manner while meeting required deadlines Make follow-up calls to patient caregivers for feedback and patient support as needed Conduct vision screenings using a Welch Allyn Spot Vision Screener Study, understand, and follow all Vision To Learn health and safety protocols Provide a positive, patient-centered experience for students, school staff, and families at all times Demonstrate the ability to effectively work with students of all ages, ranging from 4 to 18 years old Be comfortable and equipped to work with students with special needs and varying behavioral, developmental, and communication needs Maintain professionalism, patience, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills in a fast-paced school and community environment Communicate effectively and compassionately with children, caregivers, school staff, and team members
Clinic Responsibilities
Maintain optimal driver safety standards when driving, parking, and operating the mobile clinic vehicle Set up the clinic daily, monitor and replenish inventory, and ensure all patient and administrative paperwork supports an efficient workflow Load, secure, inspect, and fuel the vehicle as necessary Keep the vehicle, clinic, and internal work areas clean, organized, and professional at all times Ensure the mobile clinic remains stocked with necessary clinical, administrative, and operational supplies Coordinate and assist with vehicle maintenance needs, including taking the clinic vehicle for washing, routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and auto body shop appointments as needed Promptly report vehicle concerns, maintenance issues, or supply shortages to management Assist in maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and operational readiness of the clinic vehicle for daily use

Ability to display exceptional interpersonal skills when interacting with children, site contacts, patient families, and in all internal/external work interactions Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have technical skills Desire to be cross trained to expand your skillset Self-starter who is confident to implement Vision To Learn protocols and embrace a remote setting with limited supervision Excellent organizational and prioritization skills Strong interpersonal and written communication skills Able to lift up to 20 lbs. and to exert well-paced mobility for an 8-hour shift including standing, walking, bending and squatting
Qualifications
Optician Diploma; Optician Certification (COA, COT, NCLE, and ABO) preferred by not required Valid driver's license required, with a good driving record and familiarity with greater Atlanta metro area and with phone GPS; driving transcript must be provided Successful track record of working with children and diverse types of people Must pass company and CMS background checks and drug test Experience using Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word; ability to quickly learn EHR reporting, and project management systems is a plus Spanish skills a plus
