Responsibilities
Performs procedures, recording, analyzing, and diagnosing various physiological monitoring functions, with the variety of devices, equipment, or techniques. Facilitates processes to maintain successful inventory levels and cost-effective practice of supply management by team members, including supportive strategies for cost-containment. Demonstrates abilities and competencies in performing procedures, recording, analyzing, and diagnosing various physiological monitoring functions, with the following devices, equipment, or techniques: Modalities may include EEG, Intra Operative Neuro Monitoring (IOM) and data analysis; Other equipment relevant to position. Follows Infection Control Guidelines for maintaining cleaning and use of non-disposable equipment. Must have a working knowledge of mathematics and science courses (anatomy and physiology). Must be able to carry out assigned duties effectively. Requires a broad knowledge of principles of electroencephalography. Must be able to work with state-of-the-art technology. Have good verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications Job requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent One year of full-time experience in a Neurodiagnostics Lab. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Associate degree. Applying to or already enrolled in a CAHEEP Neurodiagnostic Program. Experience in a healthcare, biotechnology, or biosciences related field.
