Physician: Nocturnist Nocturnist Hospitalist (MD/DO) – Sinai Hospital | Baltimore, MD Specialty: Internal Medicine / Hospital Medicine Role: Nocturnist Physician Job Type: Full-Time, Employed Schedule: 7-on / 7-off (Wednesday–Tuesday rotation) Location: Baltimore, Maryland Overview Sinai Hospital, a 483-bed nonprofit teaching hospital and the largest community hospital in Maryland, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Nocturnist to join a high-performing hospital medicine team. Our program includes 34 physicians and 14 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), delivering high-quality, patient-centered inpatient care in a collaborative academic environment. Position Highlights
Inpatient-only hospital medicine (No outpatient responsibilities) No call required Closed ICU (procedures optional) Night team includes 3 physicians + 2 APPs per shift Strong subspecialty support and on-site diagnostics (labs, imaging, consults) Moonlighting opportunities available Teach and supervise residents, interns, and medical students
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: $285,000 (based on experience, specialty, and board certification) Additional incentive compensation opportunities Full benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision) 403(b), 457(b), and Pension Plan 501(c)(3) employer (eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness) CME allowance + paid time off Life insurance Malpractice Reimbursement for licensing, dues, and credentialing fees
Minimum Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine Eligible for Maryland Medical License (unrestricted) Active DEA and CDS licenses ACLS Certification New graduates welcome to apply
