We're looking for a Content Operations Coordinator to join our DevX Content Team to support all aspects producing educational content to our developer community. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting all areas of content creation and operations. While each content format has its respective lead, this role will assist and facilitate across the board, ensuring smooth operations and the timely launches of high-quality content. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in content operations while supporting a vibrant developer community. We encourage highly organized self starters with a passion for technology and a desire to grow in content creation and coordination to apply. What You Will Do:
Social Media: Assist with copywriting, copyediting, and coordinating content and graphics for social posts to amplify our educational content. Create UTM short links for social media campaigns. Support and triage YouTube comment moderation. Monitor influencers' social feeds and compile activities to gain insights into industry trends and help amplify their presence. Video: Assist with staging and releasing video content on YouTube. Blog & Newsletter: Coordinate blog and newsletter staging in our content management system, including fixing minor bugs and issues in content building areas and editing images. Content Operations: Support the operations of creating developer education content, including videos, blogs, newsletters, and social media outreach. Creating and tracking workback plans, trackers, and content resources. Update and organize department resources and documentation to ensure accessibility and accuracy, including maintaining the DevX content calendar and roadmap. Support general operations within the department. What You Will Bring:
Passion for operations and getting things done! Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Copywriting and editing experience. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Experience with social media management and community platforms. Experience in digital content operations and producing content. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like Contentful. Keen eye for detail, ensuring meticulous consideration of all aesthetic aspects in social posts, including images, copy, formatting, links and more. Experience with project management software like Asana, Jira, and project collaboration tools like Google Workspace and Confluence. Fundamental multimedia skills including image and GIF creation and resizing ensuring asset adaptability across platforms. What Gives You An Edge:
Exposure to technology, programming languages, or developer communities and an understanding of OSS. Understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques. Video production and post-production experience, and familiarity with YouTube Studio and YouTube Community. Project or program management certification and familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of developer educational content.
