Our technicians are cross-trained and work closely together, assisting not only with technical responsibilities but also helping answer phones, schedule appointments, and support patient check-in and check-out when needed. What You'll Do
Triage patients and obtain thorough medical histories, vital signs, and patient assessments Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures Provide compassionate nursing care from patient intake through discharge Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed Perform laboratory testing, radiology, and diagnostic procedures Educate clients regarding treatment plans, medications, preventative care, and discharge instructions Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation Keep treatment and exam areas clean, organized, and fully stocked Assist with client service responsibilities, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and supporting patient check-in and check-out as needed Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflows and a positive hospital culture
What You'll Bring
Experience working as a Veterinary Technician in a clinical setting Strong patient handling and restraint skills with a focus on low-stress techniques Ability to accurately triage patients and obtain thorough medical histories Knowledge of preventative care, vaccines, pharmacology, and medication administration Experience with radiology, laboratory diagnostics, and patient nursing care Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and remain efficient in a fast-paced environment Team-first attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed Positive outlook, reliability, and a genuine passion for veterinary medicine
