Requirements:
Graduate of an approved course of study acceptable to the state education department Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field Current ARRT certification in Radiography BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide patient care services in accordance with approved privileges under the supervision of a physician. Perform patient assessments using age-specific growth and development principles. Assist supervising physician with various radiologic procedures and patient management. Conduct fluoroscopic procedures, including barium studies, joint injections, paracentesis, and thoracentesis. Document procedures accurately, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards. Educate patients on procedures and ensure informed consent is obtained.
Compliance / Notes:
Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws, hospital policies, and regulatory standards. Maintain confidentiality of protected health information.
