What You'll Do
Operate fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images Assist in patient setup and preparation for cardiac procedures Monitor patient vital signs and respond to urgent needs Maintain equipment and ensure quality control standards Document procedures accurately for billing and compliance Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure procedural safety Support radiation safety protocols and manage digital image archiving (PACS) Adapt interactions and explanations to diverse patient populations Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on imaging systems Follow all safety and regulatory requirements related to radiation and patient care
What You Need
Required:
ARRT registration and state Radiologic Technologist license Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications (American Heart Association) Minimum 2 years of related clinical experience Proficiency with radiologic imaging systems and PACS Ability to perform complex tasks safely and accurately
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in radiologic sciences Experience in a cardiovascular or catheterization lab Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
