MRI Technologist Location: Morristown, Vermont Pay Rate: $70/hr to $72/hr Contract: 8-13 Weeks Schedule: Day Shift, 3x12-hour shifts Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Experience: Less than 1 year acceptedAbout the Role We are seeking an MRI Technologist for a day shift contract opportunity in Morristown, VT. This role is responsible for operating MRI equipment, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. Responsibilities
Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging Explain procedures to patients and help them feel comfortable Position and immobilize patients properly for MRI scans Monitor patients during scans under physician direction Review computer-generated images for diagnostic quality Follow MRI safety protocols and use protection measures for patients and staff Maintain accurate imaging documentation and support smooth department workflow Requirements ARRT(MRI) certification required Vermont state license required upon acceptance MRI Technologist or Radiologic Technologist experience accepted Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts Strong patient care, communication, and attention-to-detail skills Knowledge of MRI safety standards and imaging quality requirements
