About

Job Description Technology Business Analyst based in Boston, MA supporting New England transportation clients.
Key Responsibilities
Develops standards, processes, and documentation to support integration and interface management for internal and external projects, identifying static and dynamic interfaces and coordinating interdependencies across project teams, collaborative partners, and workstreams.
Serves as the primary point of contact for clients, building trust through consistent communication, dependable delivery of project commitments, and direct management of information and deliverable review cycles.
Supports and mentors junior consultants and sub-consultants throughout project execution, maintaining accountability for timely production of accurate, client‑ready work products.
Develops and manages project schedules including waterfall and time‑distance charts for transit projects, conducting critical path analysis and integrated master schedule development to establish well‑structured project roadmaps.
Advises clients on data governance, data management practices, and digital transformation initiatives by establishing structured data rooms, transitioning documentation to centralized digital environments, and maintaining metadata and geospatial design information.
Captures and documents lessons learned from completed projects, synthesizing insights into standardized, repeatable processes and frameworks that strengthen planning practices and improve delivery outcomes.
Supports data collection, analysis, and interpretation for transportation decision‑making; produces high‑quality deliverables including graphics, reports, and web‑based products.
Conducts QA reviews, ensures compliance with AECOM standards, applies professional judgment in solving problems, and champions continuous improvement across the New England Transit Group.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and four (4) years of relevant experience in transportation engineering or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications
Six plus years transportation experience
PMP and PSP Certification
Proficient in conducting Primavera P6 (P6) schedule reviews and developing complex, fully logic‑driven schedules that adhere to industry standards, including Critical Path Method (CPM) and project controls best practices

All newly hired employees are required to attend an in‑person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
Compensation USD 100,000 – USD 120,000 per year.
