Connecticut Orthopaedics is seeking a full-time Float Radiologic Technologist to join our exceptional care team. In this role, you will float between Orange, Milford, Trumbull and Shelton, contributing to high-quality patient care across our practice. Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. 1 weekend rotation every 5 weeks. Essential Responsibilities:
Play a critical role in the diagnoses and treatment of a patient's illness and/or injury by performing various radiographic procedures Connect with the patient. From pre-screening for precautions or contraindications, to explaining the procedure and offering emotional support throughout, this position plays a key role in the care process and patient experience Skills and Abilities:
The ability to provide quality, compassionate patient care A positive attitude and friendly, courteous demeanor Ability to maintain medical equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting Ability to comply with all HIPAA requirements Education & Experience Requirements: Must be a registered technologist from an accredited school of Radiology Must possess a radiology technologist license in the state of Connecticut. Primary location in Hamden, CT This is a float position and requires reliable personal transportation for travel between locations. Our practice has merged with several surrounding orthopaedic groups over the past several years and has become the largest privately-owned orthopaedic practice in New England. Due to our quality of care and attentiveness to our patients, we are proudly the team of orthopaedic physicians for multiple colleges and high schools as well as have our own physical therapy centers. In addition to our orthopaedic service line, we have three MRI suites, (5) acute care orthopaedic walk-in centers and a surgery center in Branford.
