First Shift (United States of America) Summary:
We are seeking a full time Endoscope Reprocessing Technician to work in our Nursing - Endoscopy department.
The Endoscope Reprocessing Technician handles and processes instruments/scopes in accordance with various regulatory agencies' regulations and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center policies and procedures; inspects and ensures that all scopes are in proper working order; provides quality assurance through performance of periodic endoscope testing; adheres to strict infection control standards with respect to endoscope and endoscope accessory processing; occasionally transports specimens and supplies as delegated by a Registered Nurse; performs endoscopy room floor mopping/disinfection after contaminated cases; maintains general unit supplies. Starting hourly rate is $19.37 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience performing high-level disinfection of endoscopes and other Endoscopy Suite equipment. NOTE: Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
