Description: Located in a scenic area, this health facility has been serving the community since 1977. It is comprised of a 122-bed acute care facility, offering exceptional care in various medical and surgical services. The job involves performing professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The RNFA will coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care under the direction of the primary operating surgeon. Responsibilities include meeting the established Standards of Nursing Practice and promoting teamwork among healthcare professionals. The RNFA is accountable for leadership and professionalism in their expanded role. Essential functions include ensuring patients' personal needs are met and actively participating in a supportive work environment. Healthcare professionals in this role will document information clearly and concisely while adhering to infection control guidelines. They will review medical histories and assessments, identify abnormalities, and communicate necessary information promptly. The RNFA will demonstrate intraoperative competency, including manual dexterity, suturing, and providing hemostasis. Additionally, they will assist in the development and education of new staff and participate in staff meetings and training. Commitment to quality care, patient safety, and adapting to changes in the work environment are crucial.
