About
Commit to training future family physicians to deliver quality health services to patients of diverse cultural, ethnic, and economic backgrounds. You will teach the residents to treat all patients with dignity regardless of the patient's background. Duties include teaching, mentoring, advising, and supervising residents, including overseeing resident scholarly activity, quality improvement, ensuring the quality of didactic and clinical education, and working directly with residents to ensure appropriate milestone development. Position Highlights
Join a collegial team of faculty members supervising 24 residents and teaching medical students. Full-time core faculty position with dedicated time for research and academics. Outpatient precepting (OB and Inpatient optional). Maintain own patient panel and precept residents in an outpatient setting. The team atmosphere focused on academics and scholarly activity. Experience in full-scope FM supervising residents is a plus. A rich family lifestyle in the Pacific Northwest. Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency. Active medical license in the State of Oregon Board certification/eligibility in Family Medicine. Experience in an academic setting preferred. Professional clinical experience in family practice, including adult and pediatric acute and chronic primary care.
