Schedule 8-hour shifts from 7am to 3:30pm, 8x5 schedule with weekends, call, and holidays required. Job Description The Certified Surgical Technologist will assist in patient care and preparation for surgical procedures within an operating room setting. The role involves performing technical duties relating to scrub personnel, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring the proper functioning of surgical equipment. ResponsibilitiesAssist in the nursing care and preparation of surgical patients. Function under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Maintain a sterile surgical room and ensure the functionality of surgical equipment. Perform scrubbing duties and assist surgeons during procedures. Precept new staff when asked. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMust be a certified surgical technologist (NBSTSA or NCCT). Experience in orthopedic procedures and scrubbing is required. Experience with Da Vinci robotic systems is a must. Completed an approved pharmacology course or have previous medication experience. BLS certification is required.
