About
Prepare the operating room, instruments, tables, and sterile supplies for surgical procedures Assist with patient positioning, skin preparation, and draping Support the surgeon with gowning, gloving, instruments, and sutures Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sutures, and sponges Assist with specimen collection, dressings, and bandages Perform point-of-use cleaning and proper handling of instruments and equipment Support efficient room turnover and restocking of supplies Requirements Active Illinois license or applicable state credential required Minimum 2 years of OR Technologist experience required BLS certification required EPIC experience required Graduate of an OR technician program, approved on-the-job training, military surgical tech training, or equivalent background required NBSTSA or NCCT certification preferred for certified Surgical Technologists Must be available for scheduled shifts and call requirements
